HARRY FISHER
| Harry Fisher, a retired industrial electrician and U.S. Air Force veteran, has been playing banjo for more than 25 years. His musical background includes playing with the Fiddlin' Fisher Family and the White Thorn Ramblers. Harry has served as president of the Old Time Fiddlers' Association of Pennsylvania, is an organizer of musical and historical events in his hometown of Perryopolis, PA, and is an active member of the Tri-State Reenactors Association, organizing Civil War era living history events. He also appeared in the movie “Gods and Generals.” Harry plays the 5-string banjo and sings lead and bass vocals with the Acoustic Shadows of the Blue & Gray ™. |
BILL KISTLER
| Bill Kistler is a self-employed painting contractor. His musical accomplishments include a five-country tour of Europe, singing with various choral groups, and performing with Turley Richards, a well-known musician/producer. As a member of the Acoustic Shadows of the Blue & Gray ™, Bill plays guitar and sings lead, tenor, and bass vocals. |
GREG C. ADAMS
Greg Adams recently completed graduate school where he earned a Master's in Library and Information Sciences at the University of Maryland, College Park. Greg received his bachelors of arts in Music History and Literature from Youngstown State University. He is currently living in Maryland with his wife and is working as an archivist in Washington, D.C. Greg is also heavily involved in a research project that focuses on the history of the early banjo. Greg plays the 5-string banjo and sings lead and tenor vocals in then ranks of the band. |

WALTER F. GASDEK

Walter F. Gasdek was a retired biology and chemistry teacher and a U.S. Army Veteran. He was involved in community and church choirs, the Valley Players of Ligonier, the Commonwealth Ancients, Western PA Fife and Drum Corps, and Chestnut Ridge Dulcimer Players. Walt regularly performed locally as a soloist with the mountain dulcimer, harmonica, and tin whistle at churches, rest homes, senior centers, and for group dinners. He appeared in the movies Gettysburg and, most recently, God and Generals . In addition to singing lead and bass vocals with the Acoustic Shadows of the Blue & Gray™, Walt played fife, tin whistle, harmonica, tambourine, spoons, and washboard. |
